Hi, I am Angie
After years of struggling with my identity, with trying to 'fit in' and be accepted by others I finally discovered that no one else's opinion mattered, just my own however it has been a journey, with many ups and downs
Born in London, with Indian heritage I tried to create an identity that was both British and Indian, which was deeply conflicting. I wanted to fit in both societies but struggled to be accepted in either
Embracing self-love had been deeply. challenging. Dealing with obesity, a sense of unworthiness, imposter syndrome, and low confidence took a toll on both my personal and professional life. I was filled with trauma and unable to heal or process this. Then as I grew older the struggles from failed relationships, unfulfilled jobs and not becoming a mother, along with trying to conform to society's expectations forced upon me was gradually started wearing me down, piece by piece. My substance addictions was all I enjoyed because it took me away from what was happening around me.
